Whether they admit it or not, it can only be one or two things: They are ' Insecure in His relationship', or ' She is more than He can handle '. Personally, we have been married 48 years, and I take it as a compliment to me when guys stare at her. Good Luck and God Bless !!

Basically most human beings are insecure. Men are territorial they have a different bent than women. There is a deep need to hunt inside men. They are on a mission. They hunt it down and it is theirs. Get the drift? There are men, though, that once they know their lady is committed, become secure in the relationship. They aren't jealous by nature. Someone who is jealous by nature and tenses up every time 'inquiring eyes want to know', will most likely stay that way. Not every guy is insecure in relationships. The ones who are insecure are dangerous territory to linger on.

It's usually about one thing. Male ego. Men are always going to be "the hunters" and if they've established a relationship with the woman or at least trying to; other men who are attractive appear as a "threat" to them. It's not right or wrong, it just is =) Women can be exaclty the same way at times.

For the same reason we tense up when we see an attractive woman around our men...

Yes, I think it's about territory and protection and all that animalistic stuff too, but I also submit that there's something else: fear. Fear that she will find a better prospect and leave him alone. And you all can argue how that fits into territory and what-not. It does.

Listen to James Brown's "It's a Man's World" if you don't believe me. We've got hunter instincts and all, but we also have a dependency thing. Recognize it, but if you take advantage of it, you'll turn him in the proverbial you-know-what that you hate dating and then you eventually end up single. Sucks, don't it?

Because they may feel indimidated and that guy doesn't know what his girl is thinking.... I suppose that will get to them. How do women feel about an attractive woman around their man.

some are very insecure as just as a woman is when they see their guy talking to a beautiful woman.

I have no problem with that. When we go out, my wife dances with handsome men, I dance with nice looking hotties but my wife and I go home together.

It's called being secure in your relationship. I do know unsecure men that freak out of a man look's in their wife's direction. That is silly. I let my wife dance with other men when we go out and my wife respects my being secure enough to do that.

Some form of insecurity

That makes them feel insecure. They feel like "that guy's better looking than me"
The bad thing is that they may not be trustful enough.
