It was in the tunnel called Pont de l'Alma. I believe the street leading to the tunnel was the Champes de Elysse

The Pont de L'Alma is the nearest bridge over the Seine to where she died.
The road to the west of the bridge is the Avenue de New York and to the east it is Cours Albert 1er.
The underpass she was in is slightly to the west of the bridge.

It was a "Tunnel" underpass!! My daughter went to Europe and went through that exact spot where Lady Di, passed... I dont know the name of the tunnel, but it was definately an underpass, and through a tunnel in which she passed.. I remembered hearing about it at work, and I just broke down crying.. I couldn't believe it!!! I saved every news article about her at that time, but my ex-ended up with alot of my things when we devorced, or I'd be going through them right now to give you your answer! Sorry.. Smile!!!

She died at the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris along with Dodi Al-Fayed. Speeding was the cause, apparently.
