Should I take the bus or if I have a car should I drive? I think it would be cheaper to take the bus bcause of the gas prices and I wouldn't have to worry about getting tired but then I would have to worry about long, boring layovers and I could drive at my own pace and not worry about them.I dunno what do you think?

That depends on where you are going and how much time that you have. If you are going on vacation, did you allot for driving to and from? In the past, I have taken bus trips that were 14 hours long, but if I would have driven, it would have taken 10.
If time is not a factor, then taking a bus may be cheaper and yes, you don't have to worry about driving and getting tired, but you are stuck to a particular route with stops along the way. If you drive, you can wherever you want, whenever you want and you can basically drive to your destination via the most direct route ot the most scenic. The bottom line is that it's your choice. If you find yourself getting tired, pull over at a rest stop and take a 20-30 minute nap. You'd be surprised how much that will help revive you.
My vote would be for driving in a car and enjoying the scenery as you drive.

Ive been taking the bus all my life and believe me there are times where I wish I had a car. If you take the bus you have to go by their schedule not yours. And then there are always those times the buses dont show up or break down then youre stuck waiting for the next bus. And if youre headed to work, then youre late or you take a cab. I mean dont get me wrong price wise the bus isnt bad although most of them have made their prices higher this year and the services are still the same. Sometimes the bus works for you sometimes it doesnt. If you have the option of getting a car then I would go with getting a car. Then youre your own boss.

I would take into consideration how far I would be traveling and how long it would take to get to my destination. Traveling by car is good if you aren't going too far, if I am going over 500 miles, i like to stop and stay the night somewhere, so there is that added expense. Food takes alot of time if you stop and go in to eat, allow at least an hour or so there. The bus makes a lot of stops and is not very comfortable, and it seems to take forever to get any place. I would recommend flying if I were going over 500 to 700 miles. The bus just beats me to death, and the noise is deafning. Wish you had stated how far you were traveling.

I quite have a competent bus and subway device around right here, best in the rustic (I don`t stay in the US). i'm 15 and can`t stress yet, yet my mothers and dads have a automobile. It`s handy in case you may get someplace quickly and don`t have time to await a bus. Or if some thing is on the different end of the city and additionally you don`t sense like sitting on the subway for forty 5 minutes. And the transit device is loopy high priced; 3$ in keeping with bus like whaaa. fortuitously i'm getting loose tickets from college, when you consider that I stay extremely some distance, yet oh lord it`s like, extra high priced than gasoline! Plus in case you prefer to go away the cities limits, you may pay approximately 10$ for the bus. (distinctive transit device) i admire having transit yet a automobile in different circumstances.

I would choose the bus over a car unless you are travelling to a location that is not served frequestly by a bus company. Driving can be a hassle not only because of the gas prices but also think about parking, ticket possiblilities, and bad drivers.

depends where you live. Cars are more expensive, but you can go anywhere anytime.
For example: say I'm craving a tastey roast beef sandwich from Lion's choice. I can jump in my car and have au jus dripping off my chin in 15 to 20 mins. not bad. if I decided to take the bus, I would have to walk to the bus stop and wait. It could easily an hour before I feed my craving.
Sounds like a car is the way to go.

Take the bus.
If there are train stations nearby your starting and ending points, the train is even better. You can get up and stretch your legs on the train!
