a "mercenary army" made up of mostly US private contractors . Bush basically bought himself his own private army/ally because he couldn't get enough regular allies to help him in Iraq. So why doesn't he just buy a full private mercenary army to replace US troops in Iraq? Then no one will care who gets killed & no regular US troops will be hurt or killed?

You think the only country to employ mercenaries is the US? Mercenaries have fought in every war since the beginning of history. Including the revolutionary war, they were mainly Hessian's, and they were employed on both sides. Many corporations employ them as well for security in foreign lands. I personally have no problem with them, but that's me.

However I seriously, SERIOUSLY doubt they are the second largest group in Iraq.
I was in Iraq by the way.

Yes, I know that.

As for the mercenaries, Iraq should be footing the bill for them.
