Hey guys ..........I need 2 write an essay on the title "why is the red cross first to arrive and last to leave??" It has to be 2 or three pages.......I need some paragraphs to start or some ideas on how to start

Any help would be appriciated.

The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that helps millions of people each year prevent, prepare for, and cope with emergencies.

I'd title it "Crossing all borders"
[just loose ideas, not final suggestions]
You could describe how it's a body, but yet isn't.
The organisation which isn't a single 'body', only such cause it's a body made from it's various parts, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), e International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Play on how parts make up the whole.

Or start by quoting their mission statement:
to protect human life and health, to ensure respect for the human being, and to prevent and alleviate human suffering, without any discrimination based on nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions.

Go to the Library and ask for a book on their history. I think you'll find it very interesting..Also look into your community and see which companies do the most giving to this incredible agency. Break down your report into:

History of the Agency
Changes in service over time
Volunteers: Training requirements
Awards of Service
Community Involvement:
Companies who go above and beyond
just giving money.
