I don't get it either, but seeing as they are royalty and there aren't many people that get to be considered royalty it fun! I mean when ever girl is little they want to marry their prince charming right?

I will ask u one question. Why do u bother abt ur dad and mum? The same reason which u r going to give is the reply for ur question.
They lived under them. The king and the princes care the people and they safeguarded them without any harm from the outsiders with the help of genius peoples in ministries.
for example, if there was a war, atleast one from each family will go along with the soldier and king to save their living place. All the nations why do they have army. Its because to serve people and fight against the eniemies
The King is the leader of all the people. If the leader is affected think what will happen to the followers.

I can only speak for myself, but I think its a wee bit interesting. In the past, they shaped the globe through relations (they're all pretty much inbred to some degree - especially the European Houses. Theres more cross genetics there than a rat at a lab convention), political notions, fashions, and wars from personal vendettas. I much prefer to look at times when the world was a bit simpler, so I stay away from modern monarchy and the over-exposure of various people. Give me a bit of illegitimacy, mistresses and grandeur anyday. Plus I know its something a) I could never want or hope to be and b) doesn't everyone have a secret like for something weird?
