I live in Jacksonville,FL. I have a job offer from Houston,TX. I was wondering if it would be wise to move to Houston ?

If you have evere lived in Houston let me know your opinion ?

Houston is a great city -- if you don't have a lot of personal, household stuff. Will someone be home most of the time? Texas doesn't have a state income tax is the other plus. Consider a self-storage locker in Florida for your stuff and giving Houston a try.

I can't tell you about Jacksonville, FL but as a native Texan, Houston, TX is not the armpit but the crotch of the US. If you go in the summer, it's absolutely the worst!!!!!
And their football team sux...

If you have to take a job in Texas, I would highly recommend the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Austin, or San Antonio areas!! Those are the nicest parts of the states; lots to see and do.
