I'm sorry but your question is so hard to understand! What are you asking here.....should you not go? Should you pay for the 'brackets'? should you change your email and details.....how has this impacted him? If it's a no biggie then why are you questioning it and asking is it wrong...what exactly is it you did that was wrong?

If you are feeling guilty and need to pay for something then pay it.
If you are feeling guilty because you let someone think you were buying them tickets then it's your tough luck if you lose that friend.
If you wonder if you should pay up then......no...you should have a time scale to get out of the booking......check with the site on the FAQ's.

Did you leave a credit card number? If yes then expect there to be a $110 charge. If no then there really is nothing he can do. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and pick the winner and he'll be mailing YOU a check!! Good luck!

If he is a friend he wouldn't ask you to such a thing in the first place. Don't feel bad about it, who is he to get you to spend all this money? Give him a piece of your mind, and ditch him.
