What is wrong with the car. I have check everything, like the oil, brake fluid, power str fluid, inc.... I'm getting a tune-up soon, could that be the problem/

The brakes need work on. It's either the brakes or leeking brake fluid.

go to auto zone and let them read and clear the codes.

When the check engine light blinks there is usually problem with the vehicle. If you watch the blinks you will notice there is a slightly longer pause after either the second or third set. After the pause if you count the blinks which will represent either a 2 or 3 digit number that is your trouble code. Armed with that information you should be able to get assistance at a parts tore or from a mechanic friend as to what to have a look at. Good luck.

It could be that the last time you got gas, you might not have put the gas cap on tightly enough and you may have vapor lock. It's relatively harmless, but unfortunately costs about $40-50 to have them check the car and turn the light off. Maybe you don't have to mention it, and just let the techs turn off the light when you get the tune-up.
