The first ultrasound i had was normal, the heart was good, my HCG level was good, the baby was great. On march 9th i had my second ultrasound which the doctor didnt find a heartbeat. they couldnt see the fluttering. so im being told that im having a miscarriage. If i am having a miscarriage, how long does it take for the symptoms to go away? Its been over two weeks since i was told that my baby has no heartbeat and my breast still hurt especially my nipples, i still have nausea, and im still sleepy during the day. My breast still has the blue veins on it. i dont have any blood or cramping. is this normal, if im going to have a miscarriage?

how many weeks pregnant are you? (i have experienced this but no point going into detail if im not sure, will add answer on)

ok. 2 years ago i went for my 12 week ultrasound, i felt great. morning sickness had gone, i had loads of energy, i had no bleeding, no cramping. they told me at the app. that my baby had died 3 weeks prior at 9 weeks gestation. it took another 2 days for my body to show signs of miscarriage and i had an operation to remove my baby from me.

i then found out at christmas im pregnant, i was delighted, got to 6 weeks and i started bleeding, i went to the hospital they scanned me and said everything was perfect, it was just old blood being expelled from my body.

last week at 19 weeks pregnant, i had a terrible pain in my kidney, went to the dr and he said my baby had no heartbeat and i had most likely miscarried again, i went to the hospital in a right state and they found the heartbeat straight away. turned out i have a kidney infection.

im now 20 weeks and have my anomaly scan tomorrow and my baby is kicking away.

the point is that things can go wrong and you may not know it, but you can be told things have gone wrong and the so called proffessionals who tell you are the ones who are in the wrong. if you really feel your baby is still there and its ok, never believe the bad stuff till a second person has checked it.

good luck and if you need a chat my IM and email is available on my profile.

I have never heard of that. my mom had 5 miscarriages and all started with heavy cramping and bleeding, my brother was born at 6 months and one doctor told her he was going to be still born because they couldn't hear his heartbeat, and another told her she had a 50 50 chance and he is now 27 years old and fine. Maybe you should get a second opinion go to a local health unit. I am so sorry for what you are going through. Good luck. I can't imagine the heartache this is causing you not knowing. I will say a prayer for you.

Im sorry for the news you have recieved sweetie. (hugs)

sadly it is all normal, the symptoms that you are having. What i dont understand is why your doctors has not said anything about inducing labor. As long as the baby is still inside of you, your body will still produce and act like it is pregnant, because you are. Once your angel is born, you will see the symptoms start to fade within a few days to a few weeks.

I am clickable . feel free to email. i have been through this a few times.

I do not know if you condition is normal but with me I knew I was having a misscariage...all 3 times. If you arn't bleeding and you don't have cramps you should probably go get a second opinion from another doctor or midwife.
