Hello. I just got an idea about a video game, so I started to expand it in my computer. But still, I am confused. I only started writing how the video game would be. I don't know if I write it corect though. It must be like a movie script ? After I finish writing it, what next ? I've thought of sending it to a video games company ( Ubisoft Romania - the Peter Jackson's King Kong on PC guys ). I need to send them only the script, or do I have to send them anything else ? Someone is helping me by doing some art, so I can show Ubisoft ( or whatever company would take the idea ) how I would want it to be. I'm waiting some answers. Thanks :)

Game publishers don't buy game ideas. They want a demo of a small portion of a game before they'll agree to publish it. Lots of demos don't make it.

But that doesn't mean to give up on it... Try to get a team together. Get some people that can write code, make art & make sound... And make a demo to pitch to publishers... Or, make the whole game & publish it through an independent medium.

write it down on paper, see if you have friends that might help you make your videogame work, ask them for opinions, see if they can improve your idea, don't go directly to a game developing company unless you do work with them.
