well... could be a flulike bug, pregnancy or food poisoning. could also be a reaction to a medication she's on. if she has reason for concern she should see her doctor.

What you describe can be result of many things and some of those can be very dangerous.

Even if she feels better today, it makes no difference. have your wife see her doctor for a urine test right away.

If this condition is caused by a failing appendix, you will have no better time than right now to find out as the next time will be more painful and even can result in death if no medical help is available immediately.

The urine test will determine what direction for diagnossis and cure becomes necessary. Early stages of appendicitis are treatable with antibiotics.

Do it today...do not wait for an appointment even if having to use an emergency room.

There are no alternatives...

I've just come out of hospital after having abdominal pain and vomitting. They discharged me on a load of medication, but i'm still sick and in pain. I know what your wife is going through. Maybe she should get checked out by her doctor to get to the bottom of the problem.

Do you mean she vomits? or has loose stools?
If she has stomach ache and no nausea before eating and then vomiting, then she may have some kind of gastritis or maybe developing an ulcer. Whatever it is, it's not normal and should she see a medic.

Take her to the doctor. Only he can help her, not us.
