It's the armpit of America, think of the worst neighborhood in Washington DC then multiply it by 100= Detroit.
Then the suburbs around it including but not limited to Dearborn might as well be called Hezbhollahland / AlQuedaville, USA.
Thank God my birth right was NY.

Electronic Music...specifically techno. Juan Atkins, Derrick Mays and Kevin Saunderson were the founding fathers of the techno and were born and raised in metro Detroit. Richie Hawtin Windosor, Ontario, Canada) has also had a huge impact on the sound. I'm not the only one who feels this way, as is evident by the million plus people who journey to downtown Detroit every Memorial Day weekend for the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (that is the original name; it has been Fuse In Detroit and Movement since).

I think disease, danger and death. And I live in Michigan, about 40 miles north of Detroit. Until the people living in Detroit start caring there's no way I'd go to the city. The last few times Ive gone its an uncomfortable place to be

definitely, the first element that includes my ideas isn't a be conscious, it really is a photo. on each occasion someone says "baseball" I today image the baseball diamond and liberty bell at Citizen's economic corporation Park. a number of my excellent ideas ever have taken position there. I grew up in Ann Arbor, and when I think of Detroit I think of the last place on Earth I'd ever want to live. Interesting.

I think of my Dad's house. If you mind your own business people don't bother you. We are not scared to walk around in the parks in Detroit or anything.
