Put it out side in the sun. If you do not smoke & it is a used mattress you will always smell it so replace it. Just to freshen, put it in the sun outside, use lysol spray or
febreze & let it dry outside before putting it back inside.

Actually vodka takes smoke smell out of stuff. Put it in a spray bottle like one part vodka to three parts water and mist it on. There is also a product called Odoban that is supposed to work good on smoke. Good luck.

The obvious answer is to stop smoking, but I am guessing the smell is already there - short of using a spray de-odorizer, you might try taking it outside for a while. The sun and air will do wonders.

I don't think that you could ever get it all out, but fresh air, sun shine & a good order remover may get it good enough so you could live with it.
If you are the smoker I would say don't waste a lot of time on it.
