Statistics show that only about five percent of the senior population (over age 65) is getting care at a nursing facility at any one time nation wide.

Statistics also show that about 85 percent of all the care needs of seniors in our country are being provided by unpaid caregivers.

Long term care insurance is a good idea. It's an even better idea to have a bunch of family members and friends who will "be there for you" when you need the help!

Consider contacting your local Area Agency on Aging for information about services that support seniors and caregivers where you live.

Hope this helps! Best wishes and good luck!
