The first ultrasound i had was normal, the heart was good, my HCG level was good, the baby was great. On march 9th i had my second ultrasound which the doctor didnt find a heartbeat. they couldnt see the fluttering. so im being told that im having a miscarriage. If i am having a miscarriage, how long does it take for the symptoms to go away? Its been over two weeks since i was told that my baby has no heartbeat and my breast still hurt especially my nipples, i still have nausea, and im still sleepy during the day. My breast still has the blue veins on it. i dont have any blood or cramping. is this normal, if im going to have a miscarriage?

please get a second oppinion. Sometimes doctors jump the gun on this issue. Personally, I think your doctor may have just been having an off day with the sonogram. I would say I you were going to miscarry you would have already.

youd be amazed but my friend was told this. she was in her third trimester and she was told she had to wait till she delivered and he delivered and her baby was healthy and alive so i would go to the doctors and have another ultrasound or try to hear the heartbeat. other than that im sorry for your loss and i am not sure how ling it will be
