Your right about biological warfare, I can't believe that this country is selling fruits and vegetables in the grocery store that comes from foreign countries that hate Americans. My advise, grow your own!! Larry, is dead wrong, our farmers in this country have been put out of business, the government has put our own people out of business, so that they can purchase these items cheaper in other countries. These foreign countries are not monitored and probably fertilize these items with human waste, no one over sees these farmers, its all about the almighty dollar. Think about our manufacturing plants, they are gone as well, every thing is made in China. We know longer manufacture anything. We have become a nation of sales people. Selling crap to one another........Pure crap!!!

not at all... the reason we have to many safety standards in place...remember we feed about 70% of the world as well... and for the amount of food we produce this is a non-event really..... you have more reason to fear the terrorist taking a balloon filling it with C-4 or a taking the same balloon.. and putting a bio-logical weopon in it.. walking across the border.. and setting it off.. then the terrorist attacking you with the food we eat..
think about it this way.. going that to food.. will get maybe at the most... 1000 people... but if they put a virus that kills people in a few days and spreads like the flu in a balloon and walk across the border then goto say... NY or LA and take exlax... and then inject themselves... they would take out... millions... which would you do?

No. We have high standards where I live. Recalls are a good sign that companies are looking into food quality.

No, I wouldn't jump to apocalyptic conclusions. America must just have really poor factory standards. We don't get this nonsense in Australia or UK.
