i am currently taking ortho try cyclen low. i have been taking it for about 6 months now and havent missed a single pill. when it was time for my last period i skipped it because we were going on vacation. i started to have breakthrough bleeding but i kept taking my pills. i took the week off like your supposed to but i still have my period, its been over three weeks now. should i stop taking this pack and start a new one when i stop bleeding?

Please consult your pharmacist and ask the question.
Next consult your doctor's office and ask.
Good luck!

After you take a week off of the pill, start a brand new pack. I used to manipulate my period for vacations the same way. I never got pregnant.
Next time you want to do that, stop taking pills after the second week, have your period early and then start a new pack.
