Items in the freezer defrost and re-freeze at the same time items in the refrigerator are freezing solid.

If you have already checked the temperature dials to make sure they are set correctly then you need to contact a repair man because it sounds like something has gotten crossed or the coil needs to be re charged.

You need a repair man to look at this. Sears or etc. Or think about a new refrigerator. Think of the cost & age.
