I cant for the life of me find the mother of the kid who has the fishing pole I need to lure the cat back home... Where do I find the fishing pole?!?!

She is the pregnant lady. And she lost her baby cradle. There is a monkey on the big rock in the water holding the cradle and you have to blow the hawk grass and get the hawk to get the cradle back and when you get the cradle, bring it to the pregnant lady and she will tell you to take it to her house and then she will give you the fishing pole.

OK You need to climb up the ladder to where the long grass is and pick some and call the eagle. Then you look through the eagle's eyes and look down river toward the ranch I think , and find the basket. Then you take it to the house next to the shop at the end of town. Then I think she gives you the pole.
I think you can also go to IGN.com and they have a guide of some sort

u mean zelda.... and to get the fishing pole u will first go on one of the leaves that gets the eagle... and u have to go to that guy on the cliff thing and jump on the houses until u get to it and then u play the eagle song and aim the eagle at the monkey thats holding a cradle.... then give the cradle to the woman and then shell tell u to follow her and then shell give u the fishing pole.... then go by the cat... fish until u catch a fish... catch 2... then the cat will take 1 and go back to the lady in the store.... and thats it... easy.... and zelda is so awesome!!!! i finished the game already....
