i need to write an article/story and i am a rock/punk/metal fan.. but i am new and i dun do this much.. i decided to write on musical legends in my article.. anyone pls tell me who they think are legends eg.. jimi hendrix, stevie ray, joe satriani, kurt cobain.. or anyone.. pls do tell me, iam desperate!! and if possible pls link a website tat has infos and biodata of the guitarist/bassist/drummers.. word of thanks!

Well of course there all the well known rock legends, Hendrix, Clapton, Page Stevie Ray.
Check two others out, you may not like the music, but they were both the main Pioneers in guitar playing.
Les Paul and Chet Atkins.
Go to google and search their names.
There's tons of info on them.
Les Paul was one of the main pioneers in bringing us the electric Guitar.
Bass... Jack Bruce
Drums...Ginger Baker

oh god, there are so freakin many...well, joe satriani for sure, (www.satriani.com), or his protoge, steve vai (www.vai.com), or yngwie malmsteen, frank zappa, eric clapton, of course hendrix and stevie ray, jimmy page, zakk wylde, steve morse, paul gilbert, eric johnson, john petrucci of dream theater (****** ROCKS!), that's all i can come up with on short notice for guitar players. for a bass legend, i would say that nobody but les claypool from primus would qualify. maybe billy sheehan, who plays bass for steve vai's band, but he's nowhere near as good as les. possibly paul mccartney or roger waters. for drummers, i couldn't even tell you. my personal favorite though, is raymond herrera from fear factory. that cat can ****** PLAY. i play stringed instruments almost exclusively. hope this helped.
