I am a stay at home mom for my 3 month old daughter and have contracted a cold. What is the best way(s) to keep from passing it on to her? Thanks in advance

Wash your hands, wash your hands and wash your hands. Also, if you're nursing her, you're passing on antibodies to help her fight infection. If she does get a cold, use a nasal bulb aspirator to help keep her nose clear. Hope you feel better soon.

Wash your hands a lot! I keep anti-bacterial gel with me when I don't feel well around my two month old. Keep eating healthy and do everything you would normally if you had a cold just wash more. Don't sneeze or cough near her. If you breastfeed you shouldn't have too much to worry about, it happened to me when my baby was only 3 weeks old and I was so scared. Nothing happened to her and I don't know if it was because of me breastfeeding or because I washed so much.

Wash your hands a lot! and no kissing on the face. If you are breastfeeding, keep doing it. Whatever antibodies your body is producing to fight the cold are transfered over to breastmilk.

As long as you are following good hygene, she should be fine.

you won't !cold germs are airbourne so even avoiding contact and kissing etc won't prevent them from being around wherever you are !
Make sure you get over it quicker by drinking lots of fluids.
