the rule of our government is... if it breathes tax it! if you can see it Tax it! if it is a tax then tax the tax! we live in the Land of Taxes! I'll probably be taxed for typing this!

Rule 1: there are no rules.
In an elected government the limit of taxation is how much the people will stand before they vote out those in power.
In dictatorships/monarchies- the limit is how much the government can squeeze out of the population.

The rule is that you will always pay taxes, and there will always be tax increase, and the 3rd rule is you get taxed again when you buy anything...
