sweetie it could be a million things.the perfectly healthy women only has a 25% chance of conception every month, so if your periods are irregular, you have been on any med's, blood pressure is up, anything to alter a healthy body then that brings the chances down.Even caffeine, nicotine, wine, any alcohol basically anything that's not healthy we put in our body's lowers our chances each month. good luck and best wishes

The average time of trying before doctors will intervene is one year. So if this is only your first month of trying, I really wouldn't be worried.
You might have ovulated, but for whatever reason the egg might not have been healthy. Not all are. Or your boyfriends sperm this time might not have been up to the job. The sperm and egg might have got togehter, but it didn't fertilise, or didn't implant for many normal, natural reasons.
Try stressing less, it will happen but you need to give it time.

I know where your coming from its very frustrating my husband and i were trying for 10 months till i conceived i am now 7.5 weeks. I did everything from the ovulation tests to thermometer tests, taking folic acid for 1 year, eating healthily, exercising but i think when you try too hard your body gets too stressed and it doesnt happy. I know the feeling and its the worst i went through alot of emotional turmoil but with positive thoughts and faith you will get there...try and relax and not think about it....
Good Luck sending you baby dust!

Yeah see that's why it takes an average of 6 months. Even if the sperm get to the egg nothing says they will fertilize it. And even if the egg is fertilized it may not implant.

Which doens't even take into account a million other things that can happen.

I'm with you chick... we have been for what like seems ages, and both my best friends are pregnant, unplanned, which i am really happy about, but it is a constant reminder that i'm NOT pregnant!! I've just relaxed and forgot about it so to speak... it will happen! I keep reading about couples taking 2 or 3 years, so we just gotta be patient!
Good luck!

You are over thinking it, it may sound strange but relax and just enjoy the process. If you do that it might help conception. Not everyone gets pregnant the first time it might take a little while. Don't get flustered.

You have a 25% of getting pregnant each month (so my consultant says). You don't mention how long you've been trying for. If it's longer than 12 months I would visit your doctor.

try not to think about it too much as that can cause you stress and upset when you dont become pregnant. I was trying for a year until i fell pregnant with this baby (i am 10weeks), so be patient and let your hair down and relax. :)

You can try too hard - your body has a way of going against you. I can get pregnant easily by mistake but not deliberately!
