Good for you - it takes a lot for a person to give so much of themselves to another person. But now it's time for you - look into a community college or a tech school - they have nursing programs (and are usually less than a traditional 4 year program) and care-giver programs. Maybe one of those careers would suit you?
Good luck - it's commendable that you would give up so much for your Mom, and at such a young age.

It's the age that you are dealing with you have achieved the status of adulthood by number 18. But you have spent your childhood taking care of your mum. Congratulations! you deserve a lot of credit. Now things are changing rapidly and you have no sense of where you are going and are saying what next? You should start by accepting the Lord into your heart. Just say Lord Jesus I know you died on the cross for me and I accept you into my heart.I pray in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior Amen. And that's how easy it is. Then pray to him everyday and thank Him for everything and ask Him for anything you may want or want to achieve. He will give you what you need and accept you into his Kingdom of Heaven. But put your faith in Him and He will lead in your daily life. He will be with you for your entire life. He is all you need. Good luck and God Bless you.

Since you enjoyed being a caregiver consider careers in nursing or child care. Also if your health needs to be taken care of then get that done. Also consider talking to a counselor at a college or other school to see what career paths they might recommend for you.
