Years ago a friend told me that, to get through the trauma of being interviewed, imagine in my mind that my interviewer is stark naked.
I revised that to visualizing them as my dumb cousin asking me dumb questions and I needed to be nice so as not to hurt his feelings.
Figure out a comparable way to 'humanize' that 'super being' interviewing you.
It's always helped me that I happened to be smarter than the interviewer.

When you are calm at home, go over what you think they are really asking you and rehearse what you could say that is true. The interviewer is trying to find out if you are the type of person that would enjoy working there so your interests are paramount. Then go from there. They might expect you to be nervous anyway. But they aren't asking if you have pets or hobbies etc. etc. They want to know what makes you qualified for the job and where you are headed. Just practice in the mirror until you can say it naturally. No one expects perfection. Good Luck @8-)

Don't you know who you are? Your character make you nervous? You may start with where you were born. You can always add what your interest are. Hopefully they fall close to the job you are applying for. If the interviewer is a woman you can always dress comfortable, but include a fragrance that compliment and calm the air . If the interveiwer is a man, I would insist on having my chair pulled out up and gracefully shake his hand. Keep eye contact and present yourself as the best ever.

this is going to sound a bit trite, but trust me it works. before every interview, i say to myself "They called you. They want you. You are awesome and would be great at this job. If you don't get it, there will be others" When you go into an interview with that kind of attitude, you are just naturally more relaxed and confident. When they ask you to tell them about yourself, try this. I start with " Well I graduated from (fill in your college/school. I currently work(or at my last job i worked)etc.... "and just go from there.

Everytime i go for my interviews i just "wing it". You have to think positive and be confident. When they ask you that question...damn just say what you have to say. Tell them your in school, college... grade bla bla bla, my favorite subject is ________, and i enjoy tatoos *Whatsover* Have fun, before your interview smile to urself make faces, !

If your the serious type of person then just go over ur resume, practice what you have down, elaborate on your skills, have your family or friends to practice with you. Just take it easy. You'll be fine. Its a piece of cake =)

Talk about your education, accomplishments, skills and how you look at this opportunity as a step forward in your career. Nervous makes you the same as everyone else, dress right, arrive 10 min. early, and be comfortable in your own person. A smile always helps but don't joke.

They are trying to find out if you are a "busy" person or laid back and take life easy? I never did know a correct answer to this one as I felt they were invading my privacy.
I was around a "busy" person and she was employed at our company. They gave her a job as a guard and walked her excess energy off. This in turn made her more confident and easier to be around as she was calmed down. Watch you terms that you use. Make a list and be confident reciting them to someone with explanations.

One thing about it love is that you want a job that you can enjoy. That way you can give it your best and that job will give you ITS best. I suggest you answer it honestly. You know who you are. Think about what your working for. Tell them about your goals in life. Be passionate but be gentle. Remember they are people too so they can relate.
