It drives smooth, but when I turn, accelerate or brake, I sometimes hear a knocking sound. I hear it more when I have been driving the vehicle for awhile. I also noticed I hear it more when it is hot outside. Any idea what this could be or what it would cost?

1995? You're lucky it's still running at all. My mom has a 1999 Windstar, and once it passed the five year mark, she had to replace the transmission and do a zillion other expensive repairs as time went on. I know for a fact my parents take excellent care of their vehicles, and every one they've had they've had for a long time. When I went to college in the early 90s, they gave me their 1979 Datsun, and even with my less than optimal care and maintenance, it still lasted me another six years. So it's not them, it's the vehicle.

I had the same van last year check the oil it could be the motor my motor blowed last year in mine because I wasn't checking it I'd get a tune-up and have all the plugs replaced.

i used to have the same problem with my car, it could either be the bearings on the universal joints are worn out, your bushings on your shocks are worn, or most likely it could be the bearings on the inside of your CV Axles.
