Do you tip the waiter and the taxi driver?

Yes, I tip all service personnel. It is because I am happy that it is not me performing the work.

I always tip the waiter/waitress depending on how they served me (one thing that will make the tip go down is if my drink reaches the middle of my glass). I don't tip taxi drivers because I've never rode in a taxi...

I will give a waiter a good tip if they have a good personality and don't act like it is killing them to serve the customers in the resturant. If I never see a waiter except when they take my order and bring me my food, they can forget it. If the resturant is very busy and I can tell that my waiter is swamped, but still has a good personality, I will still give them a good tip. Never been in a taxi in my life.

Tip the waiter 20%. I guess i tip the taxi driver too, but i'm usually pretty drunk if i'm in a taxi; so i'm not positive.

if i get a good waiter or taxi driver, then i tip around $5 (im in australia so its not a requirement) but if they are crappy, i take ALL the change and say.. THANKS!

I don't often take taxis, but I'd tip as long as I arrived without suffering from whiplash or any other injury. I tend to over-tip waitstaff, even lousy ones.

Depends. If they are pleasant and do their freaking job right then sure. If they give me any static at all I stiff them without a second thought.
