Hi there,
I am 28 weeks along and for the past few days i have had this weird sort of pressure down towards my pubic bone. I know things are moving around and I've had trouble with my hips and such - but this is like an achy pressure whenever i stand for more than 5 minutes. It's relieved when I sit or lay - but I'm wondering if i should be concerned or if this is normal. Thanks.

I did the same thing. My baby boy had flipped head down and was making more pressure than normal. This is about the time for yours to flip head down as well, if it hasnt done so already. This could be the difference.
Pelvic pressure is normal, as long as its not extremely painful. I am now experiencing alot of pain, and can possibly have SPD. Doesnt sound like this is what is going on with u, but keep an eye on it.
Extreme and consistant pain is an indicator to have something checked out. If u begin having this, then definately check with your doctor.
As far as what ur experiencing, its normal aches and pains. Your body is prepping itself for that bundle to arrive.
Good luck and Congrats~~~ :)

Hi, I am 25 weeks and have had this since week 12 - but i have pubis symphisis problems. I was seeing a chiropractor and physical therapist because it hurt SO bad. The main thing that has helped has been limiting my long walks and not doing deep thigh stretching. Do you do those things? It appears that the uneven movement, and stretching of thighs inflames the pubic area. When the cartilage is inflamed, it hurts. When mine gets bad, I ice the area, but again, monitoring my movements has really helped. Good luck!

I feel your pain...when pregnant with my second child I carried low the entire time and the pressure he put on the pelvic was wicked. I wouldn't be too worried about it, as uncomfortable as it is, things are probably okay. Mention it to your doctor and see if they have any ideas to make you more comfortable. Congrats and good luck.

I had the same thing, so it's probably normal, but check it out with your doctor anyway. Better safe than sorry.

it's normal. i know it hurts, and it sucks but all the pain will be worth it when you have your little one.
