My 2yr old cousin died yesterday and I want to get a book dedicated to him, like you see the "In memory of" quotes in the begining of a book.
Thanks,

I'm very sorry to hear about your cousin.

This isn't really how book dedication works, though. The author chooses who to dedicate his or her book to. You could try asking any authors you know if they would like to dedicate a book to your cousin, but I warn you that they may be quite offended to be asked. Most authors feel that their dedication should be a matter of personal choice.

authors and illustrators dedicate their books to whomever they want. I don't think you can request a dedication. one family bought a book and donated it to the library in the loved one's name. we put a bookplate in the inside front with an appropriate dedication. just a suggestion...
