I am not sure how to answer this, but here is a site that explains design briefs. Perhaps this will help someone else answer the question.

A design brief is a written explanation given to a designer outlining the goals and objectives of a design project. A detailed brief is a critical part of the design process; it helps to establish an understanding between the client and designer ultimately serving as an essential reference tool throughout the project.

ermm... how u know what kind of toys the 2 of them like?
and what's DESIGN... u gotta design urself dude.
if u design urself, u'll be more satisfied with the results.
it's very comforting. try it.. it's just designing something.
like, is there any toy u dont like or how u want it to be.. etc etc
