Our entire way of life and beliefes are at stake here. There is no other option, either we win or we lose everything. So many brave souls passed on so we could enjoy the freedoms we now have.We MUST honor them by keeping alive what they felt was worth dying for,the greatest country ever to exist on the face of the earth!!!!!!! To do otherwise would be not only a waste of the last 250+ years,it would be telling all the families of those who have served and who currently serve that they do not matter!!! That is the ultimate war crime!!!!!!!!

we are triumphing the conflict. the only factor the objective is to create greater terrorists. To this we are in a position to declare challenge performed. we've the responsibillity for the 650,000 people that died in Iraq. Sadam replace into no longer a sturdy guy or woman yet we are worse. Sadam tortured people yet we do it greater effective. Sadam killed people yet we kill greater. Sadam killed his very own people and we did the comparable in the 911 attack and putting our troops in harms way. The conflict on terrorism is to create a terror state the place people will supply up their rights. so some distance we've exceedingly lots gutted the invoice of Rights. we are the terrorists. We merely have a standing military to accomplish our targets. Our information agencies are corrupted. Our congress is corrupted. Plame and Brewster Jennings intercepted VX gas that replace into to coach that Sadam had weapons of mass destruction. might desire to this be why she replace into outed? The WTC homes don't have fallen except explosives have been used. The BBC suggested that the WTC7 had fallen 20 minutes till now it rather did come down. How did they be attentive to? Are we to anticipate that Bin encumbered observed as BBC from a crumple a distant area of Pakistan or Afganistan and informed them? carry on with the money. this might inform you who had the main to income from the deaths led to. Too many questions left unanswered...optimistically the Dems will come across the excellent scope of the plot or exonerate or President. suited now he's under a cloud of a possibility guilt in this. So, if our objective is to create greater terrorists and rearrange the guidelines that govern this u . s . then we are nicely on our way.

There is NO WAY to win a war on terrorism. It is impossible. Cannot be done. The U.S. won the war in Iraq, all of the purposes of that war were achieved. Afghanistan was won as well. What is happening now is not a war on terrorism. It is an occupation of areas where terrorism does at time strike. There is no front line or rear line. There are no lines at all. It makes no difference what party or political leaning one may have, there is no winning in this business. There is also no losing.

1st, it a war against Islamofascism. You fight ideologies (Communism, Nazism) or countries (Germany, Japan, Italy). Terror is a methodology.
Yes, the only way to acheive peace is to win the war against Islamofascists. They will not stop until they are totally defeated or totally successful. The latter would mean that all of us would be Muslims or corpses.

We have to win. I don't think we have a choice not to. We are America. We're the world's "Superpower" How embarassing would it be if we lost to Iraq, who is nowhere near as technologically advanced as we are. Of course, we could win easily if we just nuked them, but the bleeding heart libs in our country wont let us do that.

No. I don't believe in myths.
I'd like to actually tackle real, concrete struggles and goals.
How about tracking down the most wanted terrorist? Bin Laden? Remember him? That's a specific, concrete goal. And the Bush Administration so far has a 0% success rate.
War on Terror... please.
EDIT: Mr. Rick N obviously didn't read any of the answers to the question. Hello, right above you Rick. I just said "No." How much clearer can I make that?

We ALL want to win the war on terrorism. As well as ending world hunger and poverty, and find the cure for cancer and AIDS. And here comes the 'but'....the realities of this are insurmountable. Radical Islam is commited to a war without end. Their numbers are countless. So...how do you propose that gets ended?
And by the way....how, exactly, is America involved presently in the War on Terror? Certainly not in Iraq...because that has nothing to do with terrorists. Its about civil war in a country not our own.

There is no war on terrorism. There is only the war in Iraq.
That said, it's not possible to win a war waged against an ideology. Remember Reagan's "war on drugs"? That sort of disappeared, didn't it? And not because drug use has gone down, but because people are more subversive about it. Same thing with terrorism. We can call out a war on terrorism all we want, but an invisible enemy cannot be defeated, and terrorists are invisible... until they don't want to be any more. And by then, it's too late.

I am so sick of our fellow Americans blaming Bush for all of the global terrorism....as I see it, he is the only leader to have the balls to take a stance against the terrorists and to be steadfast and determined in his quest to keep "them" off of our soil! If a Dem had been elected into office, would 9/11 simply not happened? I don't think so, so what would a liberal president have done differently? This is a GLOBAL war against an irrational and deranged enemy. Of course I want to win the ear on terror, but I do not believe it will happen in a timely manner when we have fellow Americans (self proclaimed patriots by the way) reinforcing the propaganda and hatred of the terrorists simply because we the people have the RIGHT to free speech. You know I wonder, do these "patriots" exercise all of their rights as American citizens? You know, like the right to vote? Or to bear arms? I hope and pray every single night on bended knee, that God will continue to bless the USA and all of those brave young men and women who are willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING in order to protect all of our freedoms and rights?
