How do I buy a 50" LCD TV in USA and bring into CANADA by paying minimum Canadian Taxes?

A) Buying the TV online
B) Drive to USA and bring the TV in with my family van.

Either way, you'd be subject to the same amount of tax, as you'd have to declare it. The item is far too expensive for you to benefit from any exemption you'd get for actually going to the US and bringing it back.

Don't buy online unless it's Ebay Canada, shouldn't be taxes this way. Otherwise your going to have to claim it at the border & pay taxes.
