I have a brand new lexmark print/scanner/copier. when i print photos(on photo paper) the color is bad and has lines in it. How do get a better photo?

To print top quality photos out of your printer you first of all have to print with the best setting. You should also get a "Photo Cartrige". So you print with 2 colour cartriges, exept the photo cartridge has a lighter shade of cyan (blue) and magenta (red), and instead of yellow, it has the colour black. Much, MUCH better quality photos. Also, glossy picture paper helps.

Run a few print head cleanings until there are no breaks and gaps in the diagnostic page.

lexmarks are not known for their photo printing ability so you will not get a photo-lab quality print.

have you tried using different paper
