If i were on those planes on 911? Chances are i would have done like everyone else. Sat there, expecting the planes would land at an airport and that these guys would be paid a ransom and we would be home for dinner. Remember, before 911 the common mindset was if you are involved in a robbery or even hijacking was just to cooperate. The only reason the people on flight 93 fought back was they got word of what had happened in New York at the WTC and knew they were doomed anyways.
Now if i got on a plane today and something like that happened-it would be a different story. I would fight back.

you really shouldn't be sorry , 9/11 happened what , 6 years ago? You shouldn't feel bad to bring it up anymore , i know some people still feel like it was yesterday but you can't change what happened. I think more than what they said died which was about 10,000 people , alot of fire fighters died to. The problem is in the 9/11 crash or before it no one did anything on the plane . Who knows , maybe a few people stood up but not enough. Everyone was to afraid to died which is what happened anyways. Even if i was petrified i would of done something. The need of the many out weigh the need of the few. Because alot more people died in those two towers than on those planes.

i don't remember the exact numbers of those killed or the survivors, but it's in the thousands. I remember a quote I heard on tv right after 9-11. I don't remember who said it but it went something like this, thousands didn't die all at once, but 1 person died a thousand times. It was to recognize the fact that these were actual people,,just like you and me that went though that horror. 1 person with a family, friends, hopes and dreams................and those courageous people on flight 193,,,,i can only say that they are heroes, and how proud their families are of them..I don't know what I would have done in that situation,I wish I could say that i would have done something too, but the reality is, that we couldn't possible know what we would do,,those people had to be scared to death yet they showed what america is all about( to stand up against all the evil, and to protect their country),,I bet they didn't even know hat they were protecting, but they knew they had to stop that plane. I'm glad you asked that Question,,,we never should forget those people.. Peace

I'll always remember seeing the World Trade Center burning and people running for their lives. To this day I have never forgotten where I was or what I was doing when it happened. It was a complete shock. I don't even want to think about what I would do if I was in those planes. I just want to thank God I wasn't, and think of the families whose loved ones never came home that day.

Hey, it was a few airheads who thought that they were super dogs. In fact, the air force would have brought the plane down in any instance, or at least, bluffed the hijacker's into confusion and ,perhaps, into a faulty mistake.

Self-inflicted wound... so we can "justify" attacking Afghanistan and Iraq looking for these terrorists and WMD. Crappy lie!
I'd sign up in the army and volunteer to the front line if were to attack North Korea instead! bah!
