I am a boss and I would rather have my employees playing with the computer and the INTERNET during slow times than going around the office bothering people and making up all kinds of office politics.
Most bosses know their employees take an occasional break and are on line part of the day, but if they are out of their hair then it is OK.

Most likely not yet, otherwise you wouldn't be answering any yahoo questions/answers. Is your boss computer literate?
How important is your job? How much do you appreciate your job? Most people cut their own throat; it is just a matter of time. Shape up before this happens to you.

Yes probably - everytime you use your computer it leaves a trail - not only on your computer but also on the server that you are connected to. Also he/she will note your lack of work soon.
SO STOP AND GO BACK TO WORK!

He could, it is completely legal for him to record and/or monitor what is going on from a differant location on the server.
You should be working, you are stealing from the company by not giving them the time they are paying you for.
