Being in the medical field, I know that having a period does not always mean you are not pregnant. Some people can have want looks and feels like a period for months into a pregnancy. If the period is shorter than normal or lighter than normal, then I would wait until the bleeding stops and try the test. If you still are having these symptoms and the test is negative I would consult a doctor.

If you are having your period and it is the same as always, you are not pregnant. You might have been, extremely early, but your symptoms are both pregnancy and menstrual related. Bloating, nausea and sensitivity, especially in the breasts, is very common in pre-period days. Pregnancy symptoms can come at various times, or not at all. As for the bathroom, only women who are atleast 3 to 4 months along would need to pee more often, and that is because the baby is pushing into the bladder, leaving less and less room for it. I would hold onto that pregnancy test and use it when you are atleast 2-3 weeks late for a period. Just because you have symptoms does not mean you have the cause. I've known several woman who has caused pregnancy like symptoms simply by stressing or thinking about being pregnant, because that's how our bodies work. Don't stress about it. If you are trying to get pregnant, stressing makes it harder. If you aren't, then take better precautions.

Sweetie you can take a test while on your period, my Dr has given me one when i was on mine. But it sounds like to me that if you were pregnant you may be miscarring. If i were you then i would wait until i stopped bleeding to take it,that way if you did have a miscarriage then you will know if your HCG levels went back to normal also. A pregnancy test will not show possitive until it is at least 25 and greater so anything under 25 comes out neg, so at least you would have a way of knowing that you are either above for positive or below for a neg, hope this helps best wishes and good luck

Sure if u wanna waste it.
There is no need to test until after u have missed a period.
But, if u r concerned, wait until after u have stopped for a day or so.
Although u may not have experienced those signs before, it could be a psychological thing if u r wishing to be pregnant really bad. Our minds are a powerful force. So, I suggest calming down about it, and when u stop worrying so much that u will conceive, thats when u will. :)
Good luck hun.

Usually when you get a "normal" period for yourself you aren't pregnant. I'd watch it though. Write down the number of days and ask yourself if you've ever had a period like this before. It should be an indication to you.
If your period lasts up to 6 days and you bleed I'd say your not pregnant.

If you're on your period, then there is no need for a test. 99% of the time, period means not pregnant.

you got your period, no need to test. But if you want to test, just wait till your period is done.

I would really consider waiting to take it until you actually miss your period. Or atleast until your off of your period.
