I don't believe it! How can an iPod be given more memory space than a PDA!?

If anybody knows where i can get a PDA with a big hard drive, please tell me.

The difference is that PDAs use flash memory, which has no moving parts. iPods are basically portable hard drives, which do have moving parts. PDAs have flash memory because hard drives with moving parts are more easily damaged. A good PDA will have at least one memory slot so you can expand the memory.

Most PDA's have a memory card slot that allows you to add more memory. My iPAQ has a CF slot and a SD slot with a total of 2GB of additional space right now. PDA's are much more versatile than MP3 players and allow you to run thousands of computer programs in a mobile device.

Well, I supposed music MIGHT take up more space than notes, but I'm not sure.. Besides, people like to have LOTS of music with them!

Most PDAs come with a built in slot for an SD card. You can usually find a 1gb SD card for $15 to $20, so it's not too big of a deal. ;)
