The shirt is the actual tight shirt with the world cup logo on it, exactly the same as worn by the players. It is not available anywhere on the internet as very few were made. The only similar shirts on the net are replicas

Tell him to hang onto it,you only have to look at our football team to see how long its takes to regain the title. In another 40 years it will be worth more

It was good whilst we had it.

I am sorry to say that the shirt is worth not a lot as it is. As I suspect it is worn then the price will only be around the £10 - £50 mark dependant on size, condition. You can still buy the shirts from some outlets, England Rugby still sell them and I saw some selling at a JJB shop with the logo etc as a stock clearance for £20 brand new just before the 6 Nations.
I would hang on to it for a few years yet.
Why does he want to get rid of it already! We are still World Chamions for another few months yet!

If it's not signed, and I guess not match worn as he paid £70 for it - then it's not worth anything really.
If it's un worn still with tags, then he might get £10 - £30 for it on Ebay

It would depend if it`s signed, If it is then you could be looking at anything from £400.00 upwards, as there is currantly one on E-Bay that started at £400.00 first bid. If it`s just a 2003 Rugby Shirt then they are selling them on E-Bay for £55.00. Hope this is helpful.
