Do you think the Republicans will run a woman, a Hispanic (Bill Richardson of New Mexico) or a black man in your lifetime? Do you wonder why not? Of Congress members that have links to the KKK, how many do you think are Republican and how many Democrat?
Sure, Colin Powell was around for awhile, but he got out after they framed and abused him to promote the war. Maybe they should rename Condy Rice "Token."
I'm a white male, and I still know a bunch of prejudiced, mysoginistic bigots when I see them.

Dr. Rice is hardly a "token". Ever look up her credentials? Her resume is AMAZING. She earned her position, like any other American - she's not there based on race or gender. She's there because she's the qualified person for the job.

Don't you think you sound like a bigot by saying that Condoleeza Rice is a "token"? Like someone else said she has an amazing resume.....but I guess you feel that if a black woman is in such a high position she couldn't have earned it, huh? I find it interesting that if a minority does well they always are seen as a token or a sellout. I don't understand that thinking. I'm not a minority and usually vote republican but I would vote for whoever I feel is the best candidiate....regardless of gender or the color of their skin.

I suppose you are suggesting that I should vote for Hillary because she is a woman and I am a woman?

Race, gender, etc. has absolutely NOTHING to do with who I will vote for. It is pretty hypocritical of you to suggest voting based on these issues and then call "us" prejudiced bigots. I am far more concerned with Morals, Beliefs, etc. Which is why I will NEVER vote Democrat!

as a minority and proud American, I must admit that i have voted other than democrat (although i wont tell you what party i am affiliated with) sometime voting someone because of their party, gender or color is taking the easy way out and thats not why we are a democracy. it for the people and the people should always get involved

YEAH THE MINORITIES ARE BETTER OFF VOTING FOR HIGHER TAXES. THE DEMS WILL TURN THIS COUNTRY INTO A WELFARE STATE. NOT TO MENTION THEY WILL TURN THE COUNTRY OVER TO THE FIRST INVADING FORCE.

There have been more minorities in positions of power with Bush than there were with Clinton.

Hey, they have Condoleeza, right???

However, I know many racist people and for some reason, they are ALL republican. I'm not saying all republicans are racist, but all racists are republican!!!
