I did that all of the time before I learned the ethics of magick.
I used magick to get people to do what I wanted, and even to get them to call ME long distance si the long distance charges would not appear on my Uncle's long distance.

Putting a spell on someone else is a very serious thing so it shouldn't be done unless there is a danger to someone else or some other similar situation. The only spells I have done on others were to protect someone I know from real harm (Physical or mental) from another person. Usually it was in an emergency as well. It is dangerous to mess with another person on this level because you could cause unexpected problems that were not intented for others. It could also bring bad Karma on yourself. Remember the rule of the three. What ever you send out comes back to you three fold.

Spells are definitely possible, but you have to take some things into consideration:
1) Most spells are for a specific duration. The shorter the duration, the more powerful the spell (since it takes more energy to keep anything going.)
2) Unless you are good at understanding how they work, spells can often backfire on you, like making it rain on a day you want to go out rather than just for one day, or making someone obsessively in love with you, so much so that you don't love them anymore.
3) Its alot easier to 'brag' about casting a spell on someone than it is to prove it. Most people who can cast a decent spell don't like advertising (power attracts all kinds of people, and it attracts all kind of not-so-nice people as well) so the most adept practitioners are usually the most reserved about it. If your friend is trying to show off or gain attention, its probably because they feel neglected and/or need to feel they have some control in their life.
4) Even people who cast spells don't always get what they want (not even Bill Gates gets what he wants all the time.) All kinds of influences can cause a spell to change course, so it could be your friend simply 'wished' for someone to pay attention to them. And if that person suddenly stopped and said hi to them one day, they could claim they cast a spell. It would, of course, be true, but that is very definitely a low-level kind of love/attraction spell. Its a spell in the same way a Hot Wheels version of a Porsche is a 'car'. It's a car, and at the same time, it isn't.
So, feel the awe, but don't get caught yawning.

Yes! Love spells work, I've used them and got myself a husband, so ignore anyone who tells you that they don't work.
However, be very wary about free spells, you get what you pay for, and if you pay nothing, you're likely to get nothing.
But be even more careful about paid-for spells, because there are lots of bad people out there that will take your money and run!
Personally I think the best kind of love spell is one you cast yourself. That way you can be sure that the spell is being done properly.
Here's a page that lists some spells that do actually work, and more information on love spells:

Good luck with it, I hope it works out for you!

Spells and their results are very real. (And btw, Satan has nothing to do with it - witches do NOT believe in that entity.) Whether she really did them or not I have no way of knowing. A true 'witch' won't go around telling anyone what she's done.
I don't think she's nuts...but I don't think what she has done (if anything) is real or will result in anything good or bad.

Been cursed a lot, casting a spell not so much--But if you look up what casting a spell on people was in Biblical times is was giving them drugs to alter their thinks. Those with the Holy Spirit can't have also a demon. Do you think the spirit of God in his temple--you--would allow a demon or a curse to dwell in you--I think not

My great-grandmother practiced white magic (magic done for good, not evil). When I was a little girl, I had warts all over my hands. She "bought" them from me, and they went away. She also had a burn cure. One Fourth of July, a cousin of mine stepped on a sparkler. He was screaming with pain. Grandma waved her hand over his foot, said the words of the charm, and he jumped up happily and ran off to play. You can only learn it from an unrelated person of the opposite sex, so she taught it to someone else who taught it to me. I don't know if it's psychosomatic, but I've burned my hand before, had the area start to turn red, performed the burn cure, and the redness went away.

If it were true, everyone would be doing it. It is nonsense to blame everything on someone else's will over you. Some people lack control over their own lives though so that is a way to shirk responsibilty for their own actions. Those who claim to "put a spell" are just "wishful thinkers" who lack control over their own lives.

I believe it! It sounds crazy, but this so called nonsense really works. If you figure out how to do it, let us know....there are some spells I'd like to put on some people!

I believe it is possible. There is just too much unknown in this world to discount magic entirely. Magic may be a form of energy that man has forgotten and there are people that have a natural affinity to manipulate that energy. So while she may be crazy, I wouldn't piss her off any.
