You'll need to know the following basic info:
-The date you are arriving
-The date you will be checking out
- How many people will be in the room
- Number and type of beds (2 queens, 1 king, etc.)
- What kind of view you want (overlooking the strip, etc.
- Do you want a room with a jacuzzi?
- Do you want a suite or just a single room?
- Do you have any special needs (wheelchair access, etc.)
- How much does each type of room cost?
- You usually need a credit card to reserve a room

If you are a total rewards member of Harrahs (Ballys, Rio, Caesars, Paris, Flamingo) then making res. is simple and somewhat cheaper. You need to know the date of arrival and departure, how many quests, how many beds you prefer, smoking/nonsmoking, what type of view you would like to have, hot tubs or pools at hotel. You most likely will need a credit or debit card to get your room (even if you pay cash when you get there they like to have a deposit in case you mess something up) It is pretty much like getting a room anywhere else. Just be specific if you need handicapped facilities, if you have trouble walking ask to be close to elevator. Enjoy your stay, I love Vegas!!!
