She's currently on tour at the moment. She signed a £5m record contract in the US earlier this year and is due to launch a new album around Sep 07. No singles will come out until the late summer.

I agree with you What happened to Leona?
Sometimes the voice just not enough personality also is needed.
Sometimes the winner is really the loser and the loser is really the winner.
Look at all the other people from X-factor, American Idol, Fame Academy they are doing well.

Ray's album is all covers.....Leona's album has to be good enough to match her obvious talent and so will take much longer to produce. I also think she has been promoting herself in the US and A

I am looking forward to hearing her album, she was amazing when she was on x factor, never has a bad performance.
Saw Simon on Oprah show gushing about how wonderful Leona was (think it was even before she won). Think he will make sure she will break America.

Simon Cowell is promoting her???? He seemed more interested in getting her 'big' in the states. Remember the 1st fella who won, Simon Cowell was managing him too. Can't even remember his name.
I thought it odd he sacked Louis, the only winner who has had success with a winner, Shayne Ward and in the Rivals, Girls Aloud

Her album will apparently take a longer time to be produced since most of her songs will be original.
