It absolutely affects us, in fact its changing this countrys culture in horrible ways. We can escape it by getting involved and getting level headed and honest people into the higher positions in media outlets and having them keep both sides of the story out there and eliminate the damaging Politically Correctness spin. For now a start is to stop watching regular TV news, stop reading local news papers and stop reading news magazines.

If you are a smoker, you are not likely to change your brand.
If you are a housewife, you might try a new brand, but then revert to your tried-and-tested product.
It is only new products that have any interest.
We cannot escape the influence of advertising - they pay for most television programmes - but that is the time when people go out to make a cup of tea or a sandwich.
