My daughter is nearly 11 and has noticable facial hair on her upper lip. Is she too young to get it waxed etc?

I don't think it's to do with age; it's to do with how it looks. She's very young to have facial hair, but it does tend to start around puberty.

Waxing is extremely painful on young, delicate skin. Personally, I would advise her to bleach it until she is through puberty (say, around 16-18), at which point she can start waxing it.

Gentle bleach specifically designed for facial use is available from most pharmacies. It doesn't hurt and will make her hair much less noticeable.

When you start noticing that you have facial hair, It's time to get it waxed.

on the grounds which you're 13 i'm guessing your facial hair began becoming at the instant. It many times takes some years till now all of it grows in nicely, and a few people's facial hair never grows in flippantly or thickly. i might recommend shaving all of it till you're older. Pube beards are gross and ridiculous finding

Waxing at age 11 will lead to problems and leave her skin in a mess, long term.

If your daughter's moustache is growing in at 11, then the least destructive thing to do is for her to start shaving before she gets a reputation for being "the girl with the moustache". Get her a good electric razor designed for men and get her into the routine of shaving as often as it takes, so she doesn't suffer public humiliation.

I think that you as her mother should decide if she is too young to get her lip waxed. Personally if it was my daughter I would consult her and get it done.

Totally agree with Saint Bee, bleach would be better for her, and when she gets older (15-16) you can try laser hair removal and she can get rid of them forever.
(you should do something about facial hair asap before kids start to making jokes about them)

I personally believe that she is too young. If you are the only one that notices it, then you should wait. However, if it's impacting her confidence level, then, maybe you should consider it.
