if we convert a mpg file to mp3 directly will it play in my mp3 player?

i have this video.i don want to see it. all i wan is to hear the song.so if i convert it directly using a converter will i be able to listen to it?

No it wont convert to a MP3 at all.... You will have to grab the sound from the video files.. search for sound grabber softwares in google... so get the sound off the video and then convert it into an mp3 file... All the best....

Yes. If you can convert the audio to MP3, any MP3 player should be able to play it.

When I want to do that, I usually use Winamp's disk writer plugin and play the video.
