Right around the time that their periods are due some women get "implantation bleeding" that they mistake for their period. It is from the embryo burrowing into your uterine lining. Cramping may also occur. The new early pregnancy tests that are available can detect a pregnancy a couple of days before your period is due.

With my third daughter I had my period the first month I was pregnant with her. So it could be normal. If it gets heavier and you get heavy cramps and clots then see your doctor because it could be a miscarriage which happens often in first pregnancies. Hopefully everything will be fine but I just wanted to let you know. Best of luck.

ok i experienced this and it wasnt till 2 weeks after i had it i found out i was pregnant and it turned out to be implantation bleeding but not every woman experiences it. i was about 5 weeks before i actualy knew i was pregnant so your still early. go to the dr to confirm your pregnancy if you havebnt done this already and tell him what you are feeling. my guess is that if you are pregnant it should be ok

yes it could be your body cleaning itself out. In a week if no more or no heavy bleeding arises i would go to a dr or clinic to get a very accurate test done. good luck
