Did Trojan war(from movie Troy) exist before or after the battle in the movie 300? By how many years?

Way before. It was during the Mycenean rule. Sparta was under the king Menelaus and completely utterly different country and customs. I believe it was around 1400 BCE while 300 took place in 480 BCE. Thousand year difference. However the Spartans of 300 claimed they were descendants of Hercules who was also reported around the time of the Myceneans.
