Let it run its course. Stay warm (avoid drafts or getting too cool). Drink beverages at room temperature or warm but cold drinks only make it worse. Rest as well as possible. Bundle up on the recliner with your little one laying on your chest. That way you can rest together instead of having to wait for him to sleep. Take a hot bath. Eat soup and light things. Drink lots of fluids. Sleep as much as possible and take it easy until you feel better. If your like me then wear socks because my feet always tend to get cold. A hot steamy shower will open up your head. Use a vaporizer in your room at night. Stay in for a few days. You'll feel better on your own but don't take meds. Hot tea with a little lemon and honey will perk you up. Honey is also great because it helps your immunities. Use saline nose spray to loosen up your stuffy head it will also prevent it from becoming an infection. rest well and you will recover. Don't worry about your baby, your milk will keep him in good health.
