I am assuming you do alternations? If so, definitely apply at Macy's and some of the upper end clothing stores like Barney's or Neiman's.

Also leave your card with local tailor's shops and dry cleaners who advertise that they do alternations.

If you want to custom make clothing, I would leave my business cards at the fabric shops in the area. Many of them have a book so you may want to leave a flier with some photos of thing you have made. If you do drapes and things like that also leave your card at shops such as Cutting Corners.

You might even create an inexpensive custom website.
